We are hiring an Electrical Engineer specializing in oil and gas with an office-based role that involves site travel. Focus on HV distribution and design documentation.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses 10-15+ years of relevant experience. Familiarity with SAGD facilities is highly beneficial. You'll be responsible for electrical load calculations, vendor bid evaluations, and ensuring compliance with quality standards in documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage electrical material procurement and design documentation
• Check electrical layout and calculations for accuracy
• Evaluate vendor documents for components used in systems
• Develop electrical designs with ETAP modeling
• Support field engineering during construction as necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10-15+ years of industry experience
• Skilled Engineer (APEGA PEng) credentials
• Experience in HV and LV distribution systems
• Strong communication and analytical skills
