Take on the role of Teaching Assistant for the Inclusive Education course at the University of Manitoba. Engage actively with students through grading and instructional support.
The Faculty of Education is looking for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Seminar Leader for the EDUA 4000 course. This position is best suited for graduate students who are familiar with K-12 teaching dynamics. You will be responsible for preparing course materials, grading student assignments, and conducting student consultations to foster a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend meetings related to course preparation
• Create instructional materials, including tests and handouts
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student submissions
• Offer one-on-one support during scheduled consultations
• Participate in field trips and additional instructional activities
Requirements:
• Current graduate student preferred in relevant field
• Effective communication skills in English
• Empathetic approach to student needs
• Full time enrollment at the University of Manitoba
• Valid study permit for international applicants
Contribute to the learning process in Inclusive Education and make an impact on student engagement.
