Join Orangeville Hydro Limited as a Journeyperson Powerline Technician or senior level Apprentice. This outdoor role focuses on the maintenance and construction of electrical distribution systems in Orangeville.

As a key member of the Orangeville Hydro team, you will manage electrical distribution for over 13,000 customers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring safety and efficiency during line construction and maintenance work. The position involves regular standby duty, and candidates must live within 35 minutes of the Orangeville office.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform construction and maintenance on power distribution systems
• Use secure working practices as directed by Orangeville Hydro




• Operate bucket trucks and hydraulic equipment
• Troubleshoot on power distribution networks up to 44 kV
• Participate in job planning and tailboard conferences

Requirements:
• Journeyperson certification or registered level 3 Apprentice
• Valid Class DZ Driver’s License
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit for outdoor work
• Excellent safety record and sound judgment
