Join Imperial's team as a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer and impact Canada's energy landscape. Your experience in PLC/DCS programming will be essential for driving efficiency in our operations.

As a senior member of the Engineering team, you will oversee instrumentation and controls engineering from conception to operation. You will utilize your expertise in process control and system design, aiding in the development of lower-emission technologies. This role emphasizes mentoring and fostering a continuous learning culture within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Specify and sustain critical instrumentation and controls
• Provide technical support across plant units
• Evaluate and reduce operational risks




• Develop and modify PLC logic and HMI applications
• Conduct audits and health checks on instrumentation practices

Requirements:
• P. Eng designation with 10+ years in relevant engineering
• Experience with SCADA and automation systems
• Thorough understanding of ISA and IEC standards
• Robust problem-solving and communication skills
• Field experience in Oil and Gas is a plus
