AECOM is looking for a proactive Mechanical Engineer to join its Buildings + Places team in Burnaby. Your responsibilities will include the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for light industrial settings such as water and wastewater treatment plants. This role provides a unique opportunity to engage with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle with hybrid work options.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design HVAC and plumbing systems from concept to execution
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on project requirements
• Perform mechanical design quality reviews prior to submission




• Lead in office inspections and compliance monitoring
• Prepare technical presentations for meetings with stakeholders

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least four years of relevant design experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes required
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
