The Global Growth organization is chartering the future for the company’s growth, focused on expanding the company beyond North American rideshare’s core products. This includes our premium Luxury modes and Livery drivers, building a unified the company presence internationally, and enabling Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) domestically and abroad. These teams are at the center of innovation and the future of the company’s growth, and this role would be directly shaping the strategic roadmap for these crucial areas. As a Senior Analyst, you will collaborate with our world class team of engineers, product managers, and designers to build the roadmap for business and product expansion to meet the needs of our international customers.
The ideal candidate is a thought leader in this space, working across multiple functions and geographies. This role blends strong business acumen, marketplace dynamics, and strategic understanding of regulatory landscapes to craft a vision for the company around the globe. This role will help define the company’s strategy for where and how the company expands its footprint around the world, sizes the opportunity, scopes the unique products required, and is a liaison to our central marketplace teams. In this role, you will help us tackle problems such as:
How will global expansion impact our current North American rideshare users?
How does the competitive landscape in future geographies impact our growth strategy?
What product developments do we need to develop to successfully expand and gain market share?
How does our global expansion align with our future autonomous-hybrid marketplace growth plans?
Experience 6+ years experience in management consulting, strategic data science/analytics roles in a technology company,
or an equivalent analytical role in a high growth startup
Experience in leading high visibility projects and influencing others in a cross-functional team environment
Experience in communicating with and presenting to senior leaders and data storytelling
Strong ability in building decision making frameworks and data analysis, able to understand business issues, analyze large amounts of data, and draw actionable conclusions
Entrepreneurial self-starter - you naturally take ownership, look for opportunities, and do whatever it takes to drive results
Skills Ability to independently break down large datasets and synthesize inputs from multiple sources
Ability to think strategically about complex and unstructured business problems, leading to recommendations and action plans
Ability to craft a compelling story and concisely present recommendations across teams and levels including both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to manage, influence, negotiate, and inspire others in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment
Ability to use data visualization tools to provide actionable insights and reusable frameworks
Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal stakeholders, including senior leadership
Strong product and user experience sense
Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in SQL

The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $129,000 - CAD $161,250, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
