Advance your career as a Clinician in Child & Adolescent Mental Health within Fraser Health. This role emphasizes collaborative practice and counseling for young clients in need.
Your primary duties will be to assess and treat children and adolescents, ensuring culturally secure and trauma-informed interventions. Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, you will coordinate referrals and provide consultative services to families and staff. Engaging with community resources, you will enhance the quality of mental health support available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mental health assessments to identify client needs
• Create and oversee treatment plans in collaboration with families
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Engage in community outreach and resource networking
• Maintain clinical records and evaluate program effectiveness
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or similar
• Two years’ clinical experience with children and adolescents
• Registration eligibility with relevant professional body
• BC Driver's License and personal vehicle for work
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment techniques
