The Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa seeks a dynamic Assistant or Associate Professor for a July 1, 2027 start date. Your expertise in Public Law, combined with a commitment to academic service and research supervision, will enhance our thriving Common Law Section. You will engage with a diverse student body while actively participating in cutting-edge teaching practices and faculty governance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach courses in Constitutional and Administrative Law
• Supervise graduate students’ research and theses




• Engage in scholarly activities and research initiatives
• Participate in academic service and faculty governance
• Contribute to the inclusive teaching environment

Requirements:
• PhD in Law or related discipline (or nearing completion)
• Proven research and publication experience
• Excellent teaching capability in English
• Strong communication skills in both official languages
