Staff Product Marketing Manager – Security
We're looking for a Staff Product Marketing Manager for our Security portfolio at the company. Reporting to the Director, Product Marketing: Security, AI and Emerging Technology, you will own go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for the company's application security portfolio, including Next-Gen WAF, DDoS protection, Bot Management, and TLS/compliance adjacent security capabilities. Security, for the company, has its own distinct buyer, CISOs, security engineers, and compliance stakeholders, and its own competitive set, with purchasing decisions shaped by different budget holders and evaluation criteria than the rest of the company's portfolio. In partnership with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, you will drive go-to-market initiatives and launches for our fast growing security product line, position the company as a credible challenger to legacy security vendors.
What You'll Do:
GTM Launch Execution: Design, enable, execute, and measure product launches and go-to-market plans for the company's security product line.
Messaging & Positioning: Own messaging and positioning for the company's security solutions, developing compelling narratives that resonate with security buyers and reflect what they need to succeed.
Competitive Differentiation: Position the company's Next-Gen WAF as a developer friendly, low false positive alternative to legacy WAFs.
Compliance & Regulatory Messaging: Address compliance and regulatory messaging relevant to procurement, legal, and other halo personas involved in security purchasing decisions.
Cross-Sell Narrative: Build cross-sell narratives that help existing CDN customers understand the value of adopting the company's security solutions.
Sales Enablement: Partner with the sales and enablement teams to create trainings, slide decks, and other assets they can use in their sales cycles.
Market Positioning: Apply competitive intelligence and market context from Portfolio Intelligence to optimally position the company's security products and features.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product strategy, messaging, and packaging are aligned and effective.
Content & Campaign Creation: Create assets with the Growth Marketing and the Campaign teams for use across the buyer journey.
Product Evangelism: Deliver presentations to the public on the company’s unique and differentiated security story.
What We're Looking For:
8+ years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years of relevant product marketing experience.
Experience in cybersecurity and knowledge of security buyer personas required.
Technical aptitude along with an understanding of and enthusiasm for application security, SaaS, and DevOps.
Strong storytelling skills, including excellent written and spoken communication.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Self starter with strong initiative and drive.
Work Hours
This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

This position is open to Hybrid Work Locations.
The preferred locations for this position are:
San Francisco, CA
Denver, CO
New York, NY
the company currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.
There is a strong preference for Hybrid near a local office. However, we may be willing to consider remote candidates within the US.
This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $166,360 to $234,864.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in the company’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
