In this pivotal role, you will embed Aecon’s EHS Management System into all facets of operations, ensuring a consistently high standard of safety performance. Collaborate closely with teams to manage risks and promote a culture of accountability and inclusion. Your expertise will guide our operational leaders in achieving EHS excellence and nuclear safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive EHS performance through visible leadership
• Establish and manage site-specific EHS plans
• Ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations
• Coach EHS Advisors in their roles and responsibilities
• Engage with stakeholders regarding EHS performance
Requirements:
• At least 7 years of experience in EHS management
• Background in nuclear or fabrication environments preferred
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• Canadian Registered Safety Qualified credential required
• Familiarity with EHS software and reporting tools
