We are searching for a Health Services Manager to join our Parkland Saint John – Cohen Hall team based in Saint John, New Brunswick . Cohen Hall is a licensed nursing home located within the Parkland Saint John retirement living campus on Bloom Lane. Home to 60 residents, Cohen Hall is dedicated to providing exceptional, resident-centered care in a welcoming and compassionate environment. About The Opportunity

Provides leadership, coordination, and evaluation of resident care services across nursing (CCAs, LPNs, RNs), allied health, and recreation & wellness teams, offering clinical expertise and ensuring adherence to best practices and KPIs.

Facilitates complex, resident-focused family meetings with professionalism and empathy, addressing concerns, supporting decision-making, and guiding families through sensitive situations.

Supports families by responding to needs and concerns and facilitates effective complaint resolution.

Ensures departmental compliance with policies, procedures, Standards of Nursing Practice, Code of Ethics, provincial legislation, and secure work practices to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.

Shares responsibility in both local and regional on-call rotations to provide consistent and effective management coverage.

Oversees recruitment, training, orientation, performance evaluation, coaching of team members, and disciplinary measures when necessary, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.

Meets organizational service delivery standards and implements company policies to maintain consistent, high-quality operations.

Leads and organizes continuous quality improvement, risk management, and quality assurance activities.

Builds and promotes effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.





Ensures staffing guidelines are met by monitoring schedules and maintaining adequate coverage to support resident safety and care standards

About You

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent, and are currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nursing of New Brunswick;

Experience working in a clinical and administrative environment for at least 10 years;

At least two years of management/leadership experience in a clinical environment;

Ability to effectively plan, direct and coordinate resident care services with the needs of the organization;

Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and performance manage others;

Consistently demonstrates excellence in customer service to all stakeholders;

Previous experience in Long-Term Care and/or other licensed healthcare workplace is considered an asset;

A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
