The role also emphasizes the importance of education, leadership, and research within emergency medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage emergency medical situations effectively
• Mentor and teach UBC medical students
• Lead initiatives for quality improvement in practice
• Provide comprehensive trauma care
• Work with a diverse range of patients

Requirements:
• CCFP (EM) or FRCPC (EM) certification
• Licensure with the CPSBC and CMPA required
• Must have recent PALS or APLS certification
