As a Physiotherapist Assistant, you’ll carry out treatment plans designed to help Residents achieve maximum functional independence. This position involves implementing goal-oriented exercises and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care. Key Responsibilities:
• Accept and execute tasks assigned by the Physiotherapist
• Follow Resident-centered care plans for treatment
• Facilitate group exercise sessions to encourage participation
• Keep rehabilitation equipment sanitized and effective
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives with measurable outcomes
Requirements:
• Complete 2-year Diploma from an accredited OTA/PTA Program
• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Up-to-date vaccinations or commitment to medication
• Solid communication and clinical skills
• Valid driver's license to facilitate patient transport
