Job Summary

RIGHT SERVICE RIGHT CHOICE is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, familiarity with automotive repair, and experience working with various heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshooting on complex systems
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble and assemble components
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs or modifications
- Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting and equipment operation
- Assist in the inspection of vehicles and machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards

Skills

- Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks, trailers
- Knowledge of automotive repair, electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics




- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs
- Document work orders

Job requirements:

- A minimum of 3 year of experience
- 310T certification is an asset but not mandatory.
