We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation company. This role requires a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and maintain the company’s high standards.

Duties

- Operate Class 1 commercial trucks to deliver freight efficiently and safely to designated destinations.
- Work under Bison Transport and operate primarily in the Prairie provinces: Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- 99% no-touch freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with transportation regulations.
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws,



and company policies during operations.

Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving (1-2 years preferred) with a valid Class 1 license.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transporting goods.
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
