We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team and drive excellence in freight transportation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy-duty trucks across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will be responsible for maintaining high safety standards, managing freight loads efficiently, and supporting the overall supply chain process.

Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to maintain optimal performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for compliance and reporting purposes
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime




- Coordinate with dispatchers to plan efficient routes and delivery schedules, optimizing time and fuel efficiency
- Support warehouse operations by operating forklifts and other equipment as needed for freight movement

Experience

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial trucking, freight delivery, or related logistics roles
- Skilled in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling with relevant certifications preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation and freight handling
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and dispatchers
