Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Truck Driver – Class 3 to join our agile team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle safety standards.

French language proficiency is required for this position. Candidates must also have a minimum of one (1) year of verified experience in commercial truck driving.

Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair will contribute to smooth daily operations and excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 3 commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Verify freight documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of shipments.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.




- Collaborate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other personnel in English and French as required.

Requirements
- Valid Class 3 commercial driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of one (1) year of verified experience operating commercial trucks.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight handling.
- French language proficiency is required.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, traffic laws, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
