Lakeridge Health is searching for a Part time Registered Practical Nurse. Make an impact in patient care at our Oshawa facility, available for multiple shifts including weekends.

This role involves assessing and delivering comprehensive nursing care in the OG9 Medicine Unit, aligning with the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario. You will be responsible for infection control and assisting with patient treatments, all while fostering a supportive patient environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and plan nursing interventions
• Carry out prescribed medical treatments
• Enforce strict aseptic techniques
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal care
• Engage in patient and family education strategies

Requirements:
• Current registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Diploma in Practical Nursing from an accredited college
• Up-to-date CPR/B.C.L.S. certification
• Experience in a Medical Unit setting
• Proven organizational and assessment skills
