Join Metrolinx as a Mechanical Millwright at the Aberfoyle Bus Garage. This role focuses on equipment maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance, ensuring transit operations run seamlessly from Monday to Friday.

In your capacity as a Millwright, you'll tackle the inspection and repair of complex systems such as hydraulic and pneumatic controls. You will maintain logs and prepare reports for management while overseeing contractor activities. Your contribution will significantly enhance the efficiency of GO Transit services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical systems as needed
• Maintain accurate records of work accomplished




• Assist in supervising maintenance tasks of contractors
• Specify required parts and materials for repairs

Requirements:
• At least two years of relevant maintenance experience
• Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certification required
• Understanding of safety and environmental codes
• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s licence
• Competency in operating specialized lifting equipment
