Join Strive as a Recreation Program Facilitator in New Westminster/Surrey, providing essential support in social services for individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries. Adaptable on-call hours allow for unique experiences each shift.

Headway is committed to transforming lives through inclusive recreational programs. This part-time role requires a strong background in therapeutic recreation, along with a passion for community building. You'll help empower clients to achieve their personal and social goals in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct recreational activities that foster social inclusion
• Document and report on client progress regularly
• Assist clients with personal care when necessary




• Attend staff meetings and contribute to program development
• Facilitate meaningful engagement in group settings

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or similar
• One year of experience in support roles preferred
• Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
• Knowledge of Acquired Brain Injury management
• Current First Aid CPR certification needed
