Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Education Centre Program Coordinator on behalf of our client in Gold River, British Columbia .

This is an exciting opportunity to support programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, youth, families, and community members. Working closely with the Education, Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC), and Child and Family Services (CFS) teams, you will play a key role in providing administrative and program support that helps ensure the successful delivery of essential services.

Pay Rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour

Location: Gold River, B.C.

Shift: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Process registrations, intake forms, student records, and program documentation

Maintain accurate and confidential child, student, family, and program files

Assist families with applications, forms, and program requirements

Support K-12 education initiatives, including student services, allowances, and educational supports

Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, and other administrative documents

Coordinate logistics for meetings, training sessions, workshops, cultural activities, and community events

Order supplies and coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements as required

Draft communications, community notices, newsletters, and social media content

Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries from families, students, and community members





Support program administration and reporting activities

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Child and Family Services Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Services, Community Services, Administration, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Minimum 2-3 years of experience providing administrative, program coordination, or office support

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a rapid-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Experience maintaining confidential records and electronic filing systems

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Strong customer service orientation and ability to build positive relationships with families and community members

Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality

Experience supporting education, early learning, child care, or family services programs

Experience working with Indigenous communities, children, youth, and families

Knowledge of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and community-based programming

Experience with records management or case management systems

Successful completion of an RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check

Valid Class 5 Driver's License preferred

Access to a reliable vehicle is considered an asset due to the remote location

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
