Help improve health outcomes for pregnant women and families as a Parent Support Worker with LLRIBHS. We're looking for someone patient and caring with excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Working in this role, you will provide essential in-home support for families with children aged 0-6 years. Engage with parents through hands-on assistance and workshops while promoting health education. Your ability to adapt and organize will be crucial in collaborating with other health professionals and effectively addressing community needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strength-based home support for families
• Facilitate health education sessions for parents
• Cooperate with the Community Health Nurse on service delivery




• Liason for families navigating health resources
• Develop community awareness materials and programs

Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Certificate preferred
• Must have First Aid & CPR certification or be willing to obtain
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand Cree is a bonus
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License necessary
