Clifford Wuttunee School on Red Pheasant Cree Nation is seeking compassionate and dedicated Educational Assistants to join our school personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and possess the skills necessary to provide effective support.
Duties: Assist the teacher in preparation.
Supervise learning activities, aide in life skill activities
Participate in ongoing student progress reports
Implement behaviour modification techniques, problem solving and assist with general classroom management.
Assist students in developing problem solving, socialization and peer interaction skills.
Assist students with academic work
Qualifications: A compassionate and dedicated individual
Experience working with high needs individuals is a strong asset
Posses education as an Educational Assistant or in a related field
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
Ability to speak or understand Cree is an asset
Transparent Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
