Join Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society as an Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Educator. This full-time position in Houston emphasizes nurturing infants' and toddlers' growth in a cultural context.
Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society is seeking two passionate educators to enrich the early education environment at the Friendship Centre Cub House. You will create programming that not only emphasizes child development but also integrates Indigenous culture and values. Your role will involve engaging with families and fostering learning experiences tailored to each child's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster developmentally appropriate learning for infants and toddlers
• Create a protected and nurturing classroom environment
• Observe and document each child's development
• Build partnerships with families and community members
• Collaborate with the early childhood team for best practices
Requirements:
• BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate
• Infant/Toddler Educator Certification
• Current First Aid Certification
• Understanding of infant development principles
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
