Become a key player in MNP's Assurance & Accounting team as an Accounting Technician. Support clients with tailored financial insights to drive their business success.

We are seeking an Accounting Technician to join our diverse Assurance & Accounting team. In this role, you will assist with wide-ranging tasks, including audit and bookkeeping engagements, tax preparations, and managing client files. You will also communicate with government entities and help resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial reporting for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagement tasks
• Prepare and maintain government remittances and filings
• Support completion of budgets and client administrative planning




• Conduct month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Communicate effectively with client engagement teams

Requirements:
• Accounting certificate or bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration
• Up to 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in preparing T4s and T5s preferred
• Basic accounting principles knowledge is advantageous
• Familiarity with accounting and tax software
