What you’ll do Respond to plan inquiries and requests from clients promptly and professionally
Calculate and process timely payment of termination, retirement, and death perks for medium-sized plans and review such for straightforward plans
Prepare year-end annual pension statements accurately
Prepare membership and asset data for actuarial valuations conscientiously
Apply and interpret pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan provisions and legislative requirements
Work with pension databases to ensure data accuracy
Attend internal training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and topics
Participate in client meetings and presentations to add value
Assist with special projects as required to support team goals
What you bring Post-secondary education (preferably in Mathematics,
Statistics, Actuarial Science) or relevant courses related to Pension Administration
Sharp analytical thinking and attention to details
Dedicated team player who demonstrates initiative and independence
Excellent organizational skills
Robust written and verbal communication skills in English; French would be an asset
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Salary Range: $ 40,000 - $60,000 Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
