Lead the health and wellness initiatives at YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s John Island Camp as a full time Wellness Manager. This role ensures camper safety and well-being throughout their camp experience.

As a Wellness Manager, you are responsible for conducting wellness check-ins and managing any health-related incidents. Your commitment to health and safety will include administering medications, providing primary care, and maintaining proper hygiene standards in the Wellness Centre to support staff and campers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wellness assessments upon camper arrival and departure
• Evaluate and treat ill campers with care and compassion
• Safely manage medication distribution for campers




• Maintain stocked first aid supplies for emergencies
• Perform regular checks to ensure camper well-being

Requirements:
• At least three years in a nursing program or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in health care in a camp setting
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Valid Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening
