Support Indigenous students as an Administrative Assistant at Langara College’s Office of Indigenous Engagement and Initiatives. This role requires in-person collaboration and multi-faceted administrative support.

As part of the IEI team, your responsibilities include managing the front desk of the Gathering Place and offering pivotal support to the Executive Director and Indigenous Upgrading Program team. Your efforts will contribute to improving the overall student experience and maintaining solid community partnerships. You’ll be integral in responding to student needs and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Staff the Gathering Place front desk effectively
• Respond to inquiries from diverse visitors




• Support IEI team in administrative tasks
• Maintain organized program schedules and records
• Assist in community kitchen operations and management

Requirements:
• Two-year diploma or related degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years in an admin capacity
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
