NAIT is hiring for casual Laboratory Technologist positions through April 30, 2027. You will prepare and maintain laboratory equipment while assisting instructors in their demonstrations. This role focuses on enhancing student experiences and ensuring the safety and organization of lab environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up instructional equipment for culinary demonstrations
• Assist in explaining equipment operations to students
• Maintain and repair laboratory machines and technology




• Order necessary materials and manage inventory systems
• Comply with safety regulations related to hazardous materials

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 Diploma or relevant culinary experience
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices
• Solid communication skills essential for teaching
• Physical capability to lift items up to 50 lbs
• Experience in educational or culinary lab settings is a plus
