Join Island Crisis Care Society as a Custodian to help maintain a safe, clean workplace for those in need. This role combines cleaning, maintenance, and safety responsibilities at Hearth Newcastle Place and Samaritan Place.
As a member of our dedicated team, your work will support our mission to serve vulnerable populations. This position is open to all qualified applicants and integrates essential skills in cleaning and minor maintenance. You will collaborate closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure cleanliness and security across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain building areas
• Collect refuse and manage clean disposal areas
• Maintain outdoor spaces and perform minor gardening
• Execute minor maintenance tasks as needed
• Setup furniture for events and document activities
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 10 education
• One month of relevant custodial experience
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Naloxone Administration training
• WHMIS 2015 certification
