In this role, your passion for care will shine as you work with community members. With a minimum of two years of experience in health care and your Community Support Worker Diploma, you'll advocate for client independence and well-being through tailored service planning and daily support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Empathize and communicate with individuals effectively
• Conduct personal service plan implementation
• Help clients with daily living skills and medication
• Record daily activities and health details accurately
• Cooperate with families and health professionals
Requirements:
• Community Support Worker Diploma and Grade 12 education
• Two years’ experience in community services required
• Background in mental health and addictions needed
• Current First Aid/CPR and food safety courses
• Restricted class 4 driver’s license for certain roles
