Reports To: HR Generalist/ HR Manager
Contract Length: 3 months (with potential to extend based on business needs)

About the Role
Kandor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture team on a 3-month temporary contract. This is a project-based role focused on supporting the day-to-day administration of onboarding, training, recruitment, compliance, and HR audits.

This opportunity is well-suited to students, new graduates, career returners, or individuals seeking short-term project experience who want hands-on exposure to a fast-paced HR function. You'll work closely with the HR team to drive operational excellence and support key People initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Offboarding

Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics, including documentation, system setup, orientation scheduling, and welcome communications.

Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (Dayforce) and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed and filed.

Support offboarding processes, including exit documentation and system deactivations.

Recruitment Support

Post and manage job requisitions.

Screen resumes, schedule interviews,



and coordinate candidate communications.

Maintain applicant tracking records and support hiring managers through the recruitment lifecycle.

Training & Development

Coordinate training session logistics, including scheduling, materials, attendance tracking, and follow-up.

Maintain training records and assist in updating training matrices and compliance certifications.

HR Project Support

Provide administrative and project-based support for ongoing People & Culture initiatives.

Assist with data gathering, reporting, presentations, and tracking project milestones.

HR Policies and SOPs

Help draft, review, format, and update HR policies, standard operating procedures, and employee-facing documentation.

Maintain the central HR document library and ensure version control.

HR Compliance & Audits

Support compliance with applicable employment, payroll, and human rights legislation.

Assist in maintaining required documentation, employee files, and statutory records.

Support internal and external HR audits, including data collection, file reviews, and reporting.

Identify gaps in documentation or processes and assist in remediation.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education

Able to work independently and as a team player.

Honesty, discipline, and commitment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and organization skills.

Attention to detail and thorough diligence.

Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Knowledge of applicable employment, payroll, and human rights legislation, as well as Human Resources best practices.

Understanding of HR policies and procedures.

Able to work within tight deadlines with multiple priorities.

Able to work in a high-growth and high volume environment.





Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Winteam, Indeed, Dayforce and HRIS).

Education & Experience

Post-secondary education (completed or in progress) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Previous HR, administrative, or coordination experience is an asset but not required.i
