AMS is seeking a motivated individual to assist in maintaining its state-of-the-art facility at the University of British Columbia.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, performing minor repairs, and ensuring all areas are well cared for. This is an excellent opportunity for students or those with a background in handy work seeking a part-time position. Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Maintenance Supervisor with the facility upkeep
- Assist during building closures and facilitate secure exits
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on various equipment
- Keep workshop areas clean and organized
- Order maintenance supplies as per AMS guidelines Requirements:
- Experience in repairs, painting, or related trades
- Strong communication skills in English
- Positive and proactive work attitude
- Physical ability to lift up to 60kgs (132lbs)
