VAZA is a Toronto-based consumer startup building the world’s first monetized opinion market, where people participate in debates across sports, culture, music and entertainment and can be rewarded for being right.

Since launching, VAZA has grown to more than 300,000+ users worldwide, driven primarily through organic social media and creator partnerships.

As we prepare for the launch of our mobile app, we’re looking for a talented UI/UX Product Designer to help shape the next stage of the VAZA product.

The Role

You’ll work directly with the founders and engineering team to improve VAZA’s user experience across web and mobile.

This role is focused on product design — improving user flows, designing new features, simplifying interactions and helping make VAZA more intuitive, engaging and enjoyable to use.

You’ll play an important role in helping transition VAZA from a web-first product into a world-class mobile experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Design and improve product experiences across web and mobile.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and polished UI in Figma.
- Help shape onboarding, navigation, profiles, voting, results, creator tools and other core features.
- Work directly with engineers to bring designs into production.
- Identify friction points and improve the overall user journey.
- Help build and maintain a consistent design system.
- Think through gamification,



progression, feedback loops and retention.
- Study successful consumer apps and identify product patterns that could improve VAZA.
- Use user feedback and product behaviour to guide design decisions.

Who We’re Looking For

- Strong portfolio of UI/UX or product design work.
- Experience designing consumer-facing mobile or web products.
- Solid understanding of user journeys, usability and interaction design.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma.
- Strong visual design fundamentals and attention to detail.
- Product-minded and able to think beyond individual screens.
- Comfortable working directly with engineers and founders.
- Able to move quickly and take ownership in an early-stage environment.
- Experience with gaming, social, fintech, creator or high-engagement consumer apps is a strong plus.
