Take on a rewarding role as a Child and Youth Worker, supporting children and youth with moderate to severe behavioral issues in a group home environment. Both full time and casual openings are available.

In this position, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those you support, focusing on various aspects like social, mental, and cultural engagement. Candidates should ideally hold a diploma in a related field, be prepared to undergo training, and demonstrate the ability to develop meaningful activity programs. Your creative approach and teamwork skills will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver therapeutic care and support in daily living activities
• Collaborate in implementing recreational and life skills programs




• Maintain documentation of behaviors and progress
• Foster teamwork and communication among staff and families
• Engage actively in community-based activities and events

Requirements:
• Diploma in human/social service or relevant experience
• Preferred Child and Youth Care Worker Diploma
• Valid Emergency First Aid Certificate with CPR
• Class 5 BC driver's license for transportation
• Excellent communication and creativity in problem-solving
