Become a Surgical Clinical Engineer with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This energetic role offers an opportunity to work directly in patient care equipment management.

As part of the Surgical Team at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, you will ensure the efficient operation and safety of critical medical devices. Your role will encompass commissioning, scheduled maintenance, and fault diagnosis on a wide array of equipment. You'll also embark on a structured training program to develop essential engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Commission and install medical devices ensuring safety
• Conduct maintenance and detailed quality assurance tests
• Diagnose and repair faults in medical devices




• Decommission devices according to established guidelines
• Perform electrical safety inspections and compliance checks

Requirements:
• Engineering or Technology knowledge at SCQF Level 9
• Experience in medical equipment repair and maintenance
• Understanding of clinical equipment operation
• Strong organizational and communication capabilities
• English proficiency as per standards
