This summer, lend a helping hand at Calgary Meals on Wheels and be part of the meal preparation team! Help create delicious lunches that enhance community connections and food security.

As a summer volunteer, you will work alongside a small team to prepare, assemble, and package nutritious meals for those in need. There are three available shifts on August 19, 20, and 21 from 9:00 AM to noon. Volunteers aged 16 and older will participate in an orientation to ensure an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare sandwiches and desserts for community lunches
• Assemble and package meals for distribution
• Collaborate effectively within a team setting
• Attend an orientation to learn kitchen procedures
• Contribute to fostering community spirit through meal prep

Requirements:
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Commitment to improving local food security
• Willingness to work in a commercial kitchen
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Availability during morning shifts
