Take on an impactful role as a Community Disability Worker at Robin Hood Association with overnight shifts every Friday and Saturday. Support individuals with disabilities by enhancing their community integration and personal growth.
This part-time position requires you to implement service plans and promote safe, respectful environments for the individuals you assist. Besides direct care responsibilities, you will monitor environmental safety, foster relationships, and communicate effectively with team members and families to ensure the best outcomes. Collaboration is vital in achieving success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support and implement service plans
• Monitor individual needs and maintain safety standards
• Promote community participation and personal goal achievement
• Report safety hazards and respond effectively
• Maintain explicit communication with families and staff
Requirements:
• Preferred education in Community Rehabilitation fields
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with high-needs individuals valued
• Ability to adapt to various challenges and shifts
• Team-oriented approach and mature work ethic
