Reporting to the Metallurgist, the Metallurgical Technician will play a key role in supporting metallurgical activities, including daily reports and inventory assessments. You will manage laboratory operations, ensure the accuracy of testing, and apply effective metallurgical practices while adhering to budgetary controls and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the metallurgical laboratory and testing
Develop and implement lab procedures
Execute sampling for mid-month and month-end inventories
Inspect process samplers to ensure reliability
Perform surveys to validate circuit KPIs
Requirements:
Diploma in metallurgy or related field
2 to 5 years process plant-related experience
Minimum 2 years in metallurgical roles in processing plants
Background in gold processing and evaluation
Proficient with OHS regulations
