Seasonal, Full-Time (approx. August 31, 2026, to April 2027)

WAGE
$19.50 per hour

SCHEDULE
Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Lift Supervisor leads the lift operations crew on shift, keeping lifts running safely and efficiently and in line with all procedures while delivering a positive guest experience. The Lift Supervisor guides and trains Lift Operators and RFID attendants, completes daily safety checks, and steps in wherever needed on the hill. REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Education

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Previous lift operations experience required

Supervisory experience preferred.

Skills & Attributes

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Above-average customer service skills, with a friendly and professional attitude.

Able to work effectively with minimal supervision and make sound decisions under pressure.

Strong commitment to safety and to following safe work procedures.

Able to perform medium to heavy labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Must not use a cellphone while in public view or while operating or supervising a lift.

Certifications & Licences

Completion of Rabbit Hill lift-operations training and any certification required for lift / ropeway operation under applicable Alberta regulations.

Must complete Rabbit Hill’s required training and be certified before operating off-road vehicles (e.g., quad, RTV).

Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable personal transportation required. Our location is not served by public transit and taxi service can be unreliable.

JOB DUTIES
Leadership & Team

Supervise, guide, and train Lift Operators and RFID attendants on shift.

Assign tasks and monitor staffing across lift areas to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Coach staff and provide feedback; elevate performance or conduct concerns to the Lift Operations Manager.

Support the Lift Operations Manager with scheduling, onboarding, and training as needed.

Perform other duties as required.

Lift Operations

Set up lift areas for public use — including signage, maze equipment, and garbage bins — and ensure the areas are cleaned up at the end of the day.

Oversee the safe and efficient loading and unloading of guests, following all safe work procedures.

Complete and verify daily safety checks and record them on the lift logs.

Support RFID attendants in ensuring every guest has a valid RFID card.

Carry out and direct snow removal and snow work, including sweeping, shoveling, ice chipping, and roof raking.

Operate off-road vehicles (e.g., quad, RTV) in accordance with Rabbit Hill procedures.

Interact with guests professionally and enforce Rabbit Hill policies consistently and without exception.

Respond to lift stoppages or issues and communicate promptly with the Lift Operations Manager.

Safety & Compliance

Follow and enforce all secure work procedures and Rabbit Hill policies.

Ensure hazards are addressed or reported promptly.Support emergency response procedures, including lift-evacuation protocols, and help ensure staff are trained and prepared.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Primarily outdoor work in cold winter conditions.

Fast-paced, high-traffic environment.

Standing, walking, and remaining on feet for extended periods of the shift.

Frequent reaching, kneeling, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Operation of off-road vehicles on varied winter terrain.

A uniform jacket is provided; this or other Rabbit Hill logoed attire is required while on shift.
