Join the Nurses Alumni Wing as a Social Worker focused on Youth Community Counselling in Saskatoon. This part-time role involves providing mental health therapy to youth and engaging families in therapeutic processes.
You will be part of a dynamic and cooperative team dedicated to supporting adolescents with mental health issues. The position includes offering individual therapy, facilitating groups, and working closely with other health providers. You'll also engage in program assessment and supervise practicum students to enhance their practical experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic interventions to adolescents and their families
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions for youth and parents
• Collaborate with other professionals in a multidisciplinary setting
• Participate in program development and quality improvement
• Offer clinical supervision for practicum students
Requirements:
• One year of clinical experience in mental health therapy
• Master of Social Work (MSW) qualification
• Certification as a Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Membership in the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
