Elevate your career as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with Dawson Group in Princeton B.C. This role focuses on vehicle maintenance and repair while prioritizing safety and quality in a full-time, two-week on, one-week off schedule.

As a crucial member of our mechanical team, your responsibilities will include conducting diagnostics and repairs on a variety of trucks and heavy equipment. You will report to the Superintendent, Mechanical, and be part of a collaborative workplace that values communication and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute thorough equipment inspections and maintenance
• Maintain safety standards during repair work
• Engage with management for efficient workflow
• Ensure shop cleanliness and organization daily
• Effectively perform tasks in all weather conditions

Requirements:
• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic accreditation an asset
• Minimum Class 5 Clean B.C. Driver’s License
• Welding experience is advantageous
• Strong physical capability for heavy tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
