Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Road Mechanic in Fort McMurray to start immediately with a unique 14 on/14 off shift. Join our Fly-in/Fly-out team focused on equipment maintenance.
This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various construction and oil/gas equipment. You'll work with a agile team dedicated to safety and efficiency while benefiting from ongoing training and competitive compensation, including accommodations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures promptly
• Apply knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Adjust to shifting priorities and tasks throughout shifts
• Operate mainly on diverse heavy machinery
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required for applicants
• Previous experience with heavy or diesel equipment strongly preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC and power-generators is appealing
• Red Seal (Heavy Duty) certification is advantageous
• Mechanic's tools essential for daily tasks
