As a Digital Portfolio Manager, Governance & Risk Assurance, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of digital investments across the Department for Transport. Working within the Portfolio Management Hub, you will help ensure that projects and programmes are effectively governed and assured, risks are understood and managed, and decision-makers have the information they need to prioritise investment and maximise value.
You will work closely with project teams, senior leaders and stakeholders to coordinate portfolio activities, monitor performance, and support assurance processes that drive successful outcomes. By maintaining oversight of governance, risk and investment performance, you will help identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to informed, evidence-based decision-making using digital portfolio, programme and project management software and tools.
The role offers the opportunity to influence how digital initiatives are prioritised, governed and delivered, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and customer needs. You will support continuous improvement across the portfolio, helping teams adopt effective governance practices while strengthening accountability and transparency.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your portfolio management expertise, work with a diverse range of stakeholders, and contribute to the delivery of digital services that make a difference across the Department for Transport.
