Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for Mental Health & Substance Use services at Landsdowne Centre in Kamloops, BC. This role focuses on delivering compassionate care to elderly clients.

In this relief position, you will function within a dedicated care team, ensuring clients with mental health and substance use issues receive the support they need. You will conduct assessments, manage care, and provide urgent responses when required, helping clients navigate their challenges effectively. The role necessitates travel for outreach support across the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and develop individual treatment plans for clients
• Manage ongoing case support for mental health individuals




• Provide urgent interventions during crisis moments
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques for client improvement
• Travel within the local area to support outreach initiatives

Requirements:
• Valid RN or RPN certification in BC
• Experience in mental health and elderly services
• Strong assessment and case management capabilities
• Flexibility to travel for outreach and adjust schedules
• Full time relief availability until 2027
