Make a difference as a Family Support Worker at the Family Connection Centre in Canmore, Alberta. This role emphasizes individualized, trauma-informed support for families from infancy through young adulthood.

You will provide critical services including home visitation, group programming, and community engagement initiatives tailored to each family's needs. By connecting caregivers to essential resources, you will enhance child development and family resilience. Flexibility in working hours is necessary as you will be expected to accommodate evening and weekend support sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-informed support tailored to family needs
• Provide one-on-one sessions for trust and need assessments




• Facilitate group activities enhancing connections among families
• Help families access social and educational resources
• Maintain case documentation in compliance with standards

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or similar field
• At least three years of direct family support experience
• Expertise in trauma-informed approaches
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification relevant for working with children

Drive community wellness via relationship-based support and dedicated family initiatives.
