Drive success in child and youth services as a Director at Tsleil-Waututh Nation. Ensure strategic oversight and operational effectiveness across various key programs.
This strategic role involves managing program development, case management, and supervising front-line staff to deliver culturally appropriate services. You will work closely with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) to maintain compliance and drive quality improvements. Engage with the community and external partners to enhance the service continuum and support families experiencing complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee trauma-informed service delivery and compliance
• Draft policies with stakeholder collaboration
• Conduct workshops and create family support initiatives
• Manage annual budgets and funding proposals
• Ensure top-tier supervision and training for staff
Requirements:
• Master’s in social work, clinical counseling, or similar
• Minimum 5 years in child and family services
• 3+ years in a supervisory role
• Active registration with a relevant agency
• Experience in culturally secure practices within Indigenous communities
