Hastings Prince Edward Land Trust is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and drive conservation initiatives across Ontario. Be the voice for impactful ecologically significant land protection projects.

In this key role, you will lead the transformation of HPELT and work extensively with the Board and diverse community partners. This position focuses on securing land for conservation, fostering creative partnerships, and establishing a solid financial base through effective fundraising initiatives. Your leadership will be essential as HPELT evolves towards being a recognized regional conservation leader.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement strategic plans and enhance organizational capacity
• Lead fundraising campaigns and partner collaborations




• Ensure compliance with conservation and legal standards
• Supervise the organizational governance framework

Requirements:
• Five years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector
• Track record of successful fundraising and organizational growth
• In-depth knowledge of biodiversity and conservation practices
• Experience with financial oversight and risk management
• Skilled communicator and relationship builder
