AgeCare is seeking an Assistant Director of Care to enhance resident well-being in a team-oriented environment. Join a mission-driven team focused on personalized long-term care.
In this vital role, you'll work closely with senior management to oversee care activities, ensuring they adhere to established policies. Your expertise in geriatric and rehabilitation nursing will help evaluate and audit resident care continuously. You'll also address resident or family concerns, ensuring actions are taken appropriately to foster a trusted environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate resident care activities in compliance with policies
• Audit and evaluate progress notes and care plans
• Collaborate with the Registered Staff and RAI-MDS Coordinator
• Respond to and resolve resident or family concerns
• Ensure continuous staff education on care protocols
Requirements:
• Background in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing
• Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation and regulations
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Post-graduate studies in nursing management preferred
