Join our dynamic team at YVR, where we are looking for a Government Relations Specialist with a solid background in political strategy and community engagement. You’ll play a crucial role in developing advocacy plans and conducting research to support YVR’s objectives. Your insights into government relations will guide our interactions with policy makers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement advocacy plans that influence public policy
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of public policy issues
• Identify opportunities impacting YVR’s advocacy efforts




• Build relationships with elected officials and partners
• Organize materials for advocacy meetings and events

Requirements:
• Seven years of government relations experience required
• Robust analytical and writing skills
• In-depth knowledge of legislative frameworks in Canada
• Ability to create effective engagement strategies
• Fluency in French is beneficial
